Camp Doodle Woods
We guarantee the puppy is in good health, has had it's first round of immunizations, has been dewormed, and spay/neutered contract has been signed at the time the buyer takes possession. Buyer has 72 hours to take the puppy to a veterinarian for an examination. If the puppy is found to be in poor health, the buyer has the option of returning the puppy to the seller, for a full refund. The buyer will provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian clearly stating defect or illness. If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within the 72 hours, the health warranty is void.
We guarantee the health of all dogs for 2 years against genetic diseases we test for only. If your dog develops a hereditary disease that we have tested for in the parent dogs that makes it unsuitable as a pet or in need of extended veterinarian care, please contact me immediately. You must provide a note from a board certified veterinarian. We do have the right to require a second opinion from a veterinarian, of the sellers choice, at the seller's expense. The purchaser must notify the seller within 2 business days of the veterinarian examination. To have a valid claim the purchaser must provide the seller a statement from the veterinarian that diagnosed the condition of the dog, along with documentation that the required three sets of vaccinations have been completed and annual vaccinations have been completed, and that the puppy has been spayed or neutered (if female 1 year of age if male 18 months of age). We will exchange for another puppy of equal value of the Buyer/Owner's choice (as close to color and sex) at once, or when one is available. If the puppy is euthanized or in any way of disposed of, without a second opinion from the seller's veterinarian, the buyer waives all rights to a replacement puppy. Shipping fees will not be refunded, and if it becomes necessary to ship a replacement puppy, those fees are to be paid by the buyer.
If the puppy should die from a suspected congenital defect within the 2 years of it's date of birth, an autopsy must be preformed at the buyer's expense by a licensed veterinarian acceptable to the seller's own veterinarian. If the autopsy shows congenital defect as the reason of the death, the seller will provide another puppy from the next available litter of equal value to the buyer. A written statement from the veterinarian must be provided. This warranty is void in the event of an undetermined or inconclusive diagnosis. This warranty is non-transferable.
Please note that puppies may pick up common parasites. This guarantee does not include viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, hernias, hypoglycemia, or common parasites such as Giardia, Coccidia, round worm etc. We do everything in our power to prevent and eliminate these parasites by putting dogs and pups on a strict deworming program. However, mother dogs tend to be more vulnerable to parasites when they have puppies, and may pass them along to the pups. Depending on the life cycle of the particular parasite, it is possible that a few pups go home with one. You must have your puppy checked by a vet within 72 hours of taking it home. Please make sure the vet checks for parasites.
Seller makes no guarantee this dog will not shed or cause an allergic reaction. Buyer understands that Seller's prediction of coat type, height, and weight at adulthood are estimates only and are based on Seller's goal to match puppies with families appropriately.
Breeder offers 1 year of age hip and elbow guarantee on any puppy found to have moderate or severely affected hip or elbow dysplasia.
The following applies: The puppy must have an x-ray by your veterinarian to confirm the diagnosis and it must be documented by an official OFA/Pennhip certification.
Positioning of the x-ray must be approved by Camp Doodle Woods' veterinarian.
If this occurs then buyer will receive a replacement puppy.
Again, x-rays must be taken by your vet and sent to either OFA or Pennhip and come back with a moderate or severe rating of Hip dysplasia.
